Introverts like to do stuff. Just because we equally enjoy the pleasures of lounging in our own homes, doesn’t mean that we as an introverted crowd ALWAYS want to be alone. Once every blue moon, an introvert will feel fully recharged and fired up about some new, exciting hobby (likely something they’ve been overthinking for years). At that point, their social groups, work friends, and adjacent acquaintances will be flabbergasted as the introvert not only leaves their home but initiates plans themselves. BAFFLING. In that brief flash of extroversion, an introvert will spend up all of the socialization battery, and enjoy the outside world enough to say, ‘alright that’s enough’ for another few years. Like the groundhogs of Groundhog Day, we introverted folks will scurry back into our comfortable hole (our cozy bed) until the next wild hair captivates us. 

So if you see an introvert on a socializing rampage, set them free! Because like a firework, they’ll burn bright for a brief moment before going dark once again.
