Star Trek, especially The Original Series, and The Next Generation, had some major hits and misses regarding costumes. While the primary colored uniforms from the Original Series have stood the test of time, the ones that Patrick Stewart and his friends wore during the first season of The Next Generation left little to the imagination. …

The Best Star Trek Memes of the Week (August 6, 2024)
Star Trek memes are some of the oldest memes in the book. I don’t know about y’all, but Annoyed Picard was one of the first memes that came into my line of sight in 2012. It was such a perfect vehicle for expressing all of the grievances you might’ve had in 2012, like complaining that …

The Best Star Trek Memes of the Week (July 30, 2024)
My dad is the biggest Star Trek fan I know, and I love that for him. When I was growing up, he was always on the couch watching Star Trek reruns every Saturday morning because he just loved it so darn much! It was like he was a kid again, and it was the 60s, …

We’re almost halfway through 2024, and you know what that means! It’s time to see if any historical event referenced in Star Trek has occurred yet! Lieutenant Commander Data referenced the Irish Reunification of 2024 in the episode «The High Ground.» This line got the episode removed from its first run in the UK, and …

The reaction image is one of the most tried and true memes. It’s one of the only meme types the average person can use during day-to-day life. If your friend texts you some irritating news, you can send that meme where Picard has his hand in his face in frustration. If they keep sending negative …

‘May thy knife chip and Shatner’: 30 of the Best Star Trek Memes of the Week (April 16, 2024)
Is William Shatner a good actor? I know that this question might be completely sacrilegious amongst presumably a group of Star Trek fans, but let me explain. Acting from 60s TV shows isn’t necessarily «good» by today’s standards. It’s not like Adam West was snatching up Emmy awards back in the day, but that doesn’t …

For the life of me, I cannot do the Vulcan salute with my right hand. I can do the iconic hand gesture effortlessly with my left hand, which doesn’t make any sense, seeing that I’m right-handed. Maybe if I’d spent more of my precious time on earth practicing putting my ring/pinky and pointer/middle fingers together, …

30+ of the Best Star Trek Memes of the Week (March 26, 2024)
This weekend, I got myself out of bed, put on my clothes, and made my way down to a historic movie theatre to finally watch the misadventures of Paul and Chani in Dune: Part 2. Before I did that, though, I had to get out of bed, sit on my couch, and watch Dune: Part …

It’s kind of a miracle that the Star Trek series doesn’t have more contradictions than it already does. You would think after hundreds of episodes and numerous different series that nearly every other episode would have some plot hole, but they don’t! Of course, there are exceptions to this rule. In the third episode of …
