A little weird, a little wonderful, and very much ohana There’s something about Lilo & Stitch that just sticks with you. It’s not just the wild moments, it’s how a tiny blue alien can go from total troublemaker to loyal companion in seconds. One minute, things are completely out of control, and the next, there’s …

The Best Disney Memes of the Week
Merry Christmas, Disney fans! This is one of the few weeks of the year when you can truly relax with a warm blanket, curl up on the couch, and watch Disney movies for hours on end. Nobody really expects you to work in the days leading up to Christmas, nor those weird days in between …

The Best Disney Memes of the Week (December 7, 2025)
There’s a rousing debate within the Disney corporation (and fandom) regarding how to expand the canon. After ten years of dominance at the box office, the world might finally be over Disney’s live-action remakes of their old movies. Bob Iger realizes he could print money by recycling old material for theatrical releases rather than cheap …

I saw Moana 2 this week, and let me tell y’all…the straight-to-DVD sequel era of the 2000s is back and as middling as ever! It’s no surprise that this Moana sequel made as much money as it did at the box office. The Lion King II: Simba’s Pride made a ton of money when it …

The Funniest Disney Memes of the Week (April 11, 2024)
There has been a lot of drama in the Disney community this week. The fan casting of Indian actress Avantika in the unannounced and, as far as we know, unplanned live-action version of Tangled gained a lot of positive and negative attention. Blonde women took to TikTok to bemoan the idea of someone who doesn’t …

The Funniest Disney Memes of the Week (March 24, 2024)
Disney movies really accurately portray the pressure society puts on all of us to grow up as quickly as possible. When you’re a kid, you never think the time will come when you’ll feel like a grown up for real, but it always sneaks up on us. This transformation doesn’t happen overnight, but I’d say …

The Funniest Disney Memes of the Week (February 18, 2024)
I spend way more time watching YouTube videos about Disney theme parks than watching Disney movies. That might make me a bad Disney fan, but it’s not my fault that Defunctland is one of the only good YouTubers left! His video about FastPass is one of the most compelling and informative YouTuber videos I’ve ever …

Sometimes, I question Disney’s decisions, only to be surprised by how brilliant they were. For instance, opening up a new theme park land based on Avatar (2009) seemed so nuts in 2017. The fact that they had gotten past the ideas stage with that and actually built it shows how much faith they had in …

The Funniest Disney Memes of the Week (December 31, 2023)
Today is the last day of Disney’s 100th anniversary. This year has had some high highs but some equally low lows for the Disney brand. I, for one, was sad to see that Wish, the crowd jewel release of Disney’s 100th anniversary canonizing the titular star in When You Wish Upon a Star, didn’t find …

Y’all…it’s about to happen. Mickey Mouse, or at least the Steamboat Willie version of Mickey Mouse, is about to hit the public domain. For those not in the know, when a book, character, or movie is in the public domain, anybody can use it because the copyright was either not renewed or expired. If you …
