How did humanity survive this long without getting immediately banned from civilization? The more you learn about history, the more shocking it becomes that humanity successfully made it this far without accidentally collapsing society every other Thursday. Ancient people were out there fighting wars over bread, inventing medical procedures that sound legally questionable today, and …

28 Memes that Won’t Hurt a Bit
You won’t feel a pinch It can be a little painful to be on the internet these days. Every moment I spend on X isn’t filled with the comedy and laughter it used to produce back in 2018. Now I have to keep blocking people because my feed won’t stop spewing wild untruths and upsetting …

Medieval Memes for Those Living in the Dark Ages
All things considered, an era like the Middle Ages shows us that we are pretty lucky to be living in the point in history that we do. It is a good thing we are so far away from all that superstitious fanaticism, rampant disease, and tyrannical, all-powerful rulers. We would be in a sorry state …

29 Medieval Memes Straight Out of 1300 AD
I have seen many posts online earnestly romanticizing living in the medieval era. If you think I’m kidding, take one scroll through traditional bro Twitter, and you’ll be unpleasantly surprised. Memes are a part of history. They might not have existed in ancient Babylon or during the Crusades, but they will undoubtedly be in the history books in the not-so-distant future. Memes express what real people were thinking about historical moments while they were happening better than their memories ever could. I might remember how …

30 Knight Memes for Medieval Lads and Lasses
I wish we had more insight into what people actually looked like during the Medieval era. I love the medieval films of Roger Cormac as much as anybody ( (I wish I could live in the set of The Masque of the Red Death ), but unfortunately, 1960s movies probably do not represent the Dark Ages …

29 Medieval Memes for Hobbits in The Shire and Knights in Shining Armor
It’s easy to look back at the medieval period with gratitude that you’re not living in it. Who wants to spend their days doing menial farm work while munching on stone soup to survive? Why would you want to live in a time where one disease killed ⅓ of the entire population of Europe? Medieval …

An Amphora of Ancient Greek Mythology Memes and Posts
Say what you like about the civilization of Ancient Greece, those column-loving MFs knew how to tell a good story. They came up with all these tales about the Gods and the wild ways they interacted with people and each other, and even though it may be difficult to find anybody who believes in them …
