How did humanity survive this long without getting immediately banned from civilization?
The more you learn about history, the more shocking it becomes that humanity successfully made it this far without accidentally collapsing society every other Thursday. Ancient people were out there fighting wars over bread, inventing medical procedures that sound legally questionable today, and casually naming rulers things like «The Terrible» as if that was not a gigantic red flag for everybody involved. History classes always try to make the past sound noble and sophisticated, but honestly, most historical events feel like massive group projects run by sleep-deprived people with no email access and deeply questionable decision-making skills. Somehow, against all odds, civilization kept respawning anyway.
