Are you making pasta tonight? You should; it’s National Pasta Day! So, are we having spaghetti and meatballs? Fettuccine Alfredo? Penne Alla Vodka? Pastina? What’s on the menu, bestie? 

Wow, my tummy is already grumbling. It’s National Pasta Day, and what a beautiful day to be alive! Pasta is so delicious that even people allergic to gluten still find ways to make pasta dishes they can enjoy. It should be deemed its own important food group, imo. I love them all! The short ones, the long ones, the thick ones—every pasta is good! The Italians really got it right when it came to pasta. If you weren’t already planning on having pasta tonight, we recommend you change your mind. There are so many dumb holidays we celebrate as a nation; National Pasta Day should be more celebrated than Labor Day. I don’t even like to do labor! It’s more like I have to do labor. However, pasta is a different story. Pasta is a choice and a lifestyle! It satisfies the mind, body, and soul. Have you ever been to a family’s Sunday Sauce? I’m not even Italian, and I have had the honor of attending a Sunday Sauce, and me, oh my, itsa the best! I’m not going to wait until Sunday this time; I’m eating past tonight and tomorrow, and probably the next night too.
