This weekend, I got myself out of bed, put on my clothes, and made my way down to a historic movie theatre to finally watch the misadventures of Paul and Chani in Dune: Part 2. Before I did that, though, I had to get out of bed, sit on my couch, and watch Dune: Part 1 for the first time. You might say I had a pretty Dunetastic weekend, and I’m happy to say I’m ready to return to the comforts of Star Trek. 

It’s not easy to learn an entire sci-fi language in one day. I was spending most of my viewing experience hoping I wasn’t mixing up the names of the bald race and the giant sandworm. At least Star Trek delivers exposition in a manner that’s less confusing than conversational Klingon.
