You’ve been dreading this week for months now. Ever since the bell rang and school was out for summer, the dark cloud of the next school year has been following you around. Although it was easy to ignore in the early months of summer when you recuperating, hitting the pool, and slamming margaritas, it seems like the last month you’ve been taunted by ‘back to school’ quips at every turn. All of your friends are asking if you’ve completed your curriculum yet and even Target has been haunting you with their enormously overstocked ‘Back 2 School’ section. The cruelty! 

As a teacher, the first week back is nothing but mayhem, so hold on tight for a little longer while you get your life together and remind yourself to take thoughtful, adult-only breaks for yourself. During those quiet moments to reflect, which may only be a minute or two between ‘MISS TEACHER MISS TEACHER?’ calls from the kids, do yourself a solid and enjoy some relatable memes that laugh at the pain of starting yet another school year.
