There are so many elements that make Rick and Morty the absolute smash hit show that it has always been. It’s humor is balls to the walls insane, and it’s incredibly unique when you compare it to other shows in the adult animation genre. Rick and Morty is both a show about a family and a sci-fi epic and a gut busting comedy. I think one of the things that stands out the most about this program is it’s incredible characters. There’s a reason that so many people identify with Rick. It makes sense that we all know (and despise) a guy just like Jerry. We all, at one point or another, have experienced mortifying anxiety, similar to Morty. These characters feel so well rounded and don’t feel like tired archetypes, but rather, people we all know.
