It’s official, we’ve reached the age where we can’t just shout out a random Austin Powers, Spongebob, or especially Chapelle Show quote without getting confused looks. Man, that used to be how we communicated with each other back in the day. Heck, when millennials get together now it’s almost like they’re speaking in code with all the nostalgic movie and show quotes that tragically the new generation doesn’t get. Maybe this is something to celebrate? Like, we code dupe any Gen Z or Gen Alpha FBI agent who might be reading our texts. We could be saying we’re smuggling in this America’s Most Wanted person, but all we text is something like «do you like orange soda?» and if the response is, «I do, I do, I dooOOoo» then that means we got them passed the boarder successfully!
