Music is one of the ultimate forms of creativity. Even if you don’t make it or perform it yourself, there is a lot of mileage in listening to and interpreting songs (the music journalism industry has come this far). In this day and age of instant streaming, perhaps the most accessible way of appreciating the overwhelming selection of music out there is by curating a playlist. There is an art to putting the right combination of songs together, and not everybody has the magic touch. 

However, that doesn’t mean that we should exclude people from this beautiful art. Almost anyone can come up with an interesting playlist given the time and the creative space. Almost any scenario out there can call for music, as @SpotifyWeird knows all too well. If that oddly specific moment seems like it is missing something, maybe it’s time to add some tunes and see what happens.
