Clout-Chasing TikToker Sparks Debate After Trying to Film Grandma’s Funeral Like a Wes Anderson Movie

Even in these days when every other person seems to be an aspiring influencer, you might think that certain things are off limits for posting about. Trailblazer as she is, Trisha Paytas is not a how-to guide.

However, if there’s one thing we should expect from social media, it’s that there will always be some people who push the boundaries of what others deem to be acceptable.

This sometimes happens in the most unexpected of ways, as with a video that has recently been causing controversy on Twitter. A TikToker and some of her family members decided to hop on a trend that involves creating a TikTok in the style of a Wes Anderson movie. The topic that they chose? Their grandma’s funeral.

While some viewers were horrified that this was deemed appropriate, others thought that they were completely overreacting. It might be that everyone reacts to grief differently, but this kind of thing isn’t always tasteful.
