Everyone Is Blindsided By The Weirdest Ad Amazon Never Produced

Amazon is everywhere, and it’s difficult to find a person that hasn’t used their services at least once in their lives. Millions of people buy things from them on a daily basis, so it makes sense that they can afford to take a risk or two with their marketing strategy before the internet decides to meme it for them.

However, nobody would expect them to take the postmodern approach that recently graced the TikTok feed of @eddyburback. He took to Twitter to show a recording of an ad he had just witnessed on the video sharing platform that was completely that seemed to be a radical departure from any sponsored content from a big brand.

The TikTok shows a Roblox playthrough, in which two characters berate each other for their bad grades and dead grandma, respectively. As if this wasn’t enough, the recording is spliced with footage of somebody dancing to a small segment of Flo Rida’s low before the pop up for the Amazon website comes on the screen. While the content could be more accurately described as a sh*tpost than an advert, many people were entranced by the bizarre advertising tactics.
