For anybody who has bills to pay, joblessness can be a stressful experience. Much as we trash talk the rat race, at least it (mostly) keeps us out of arrears. 

Aside from that, though, there isn’t exactly that much to recommend it. Keeping up with demanding managers and packed schedules isn’t exactly the pinnacle of enjoyment, and it’s not very good for our health, either. Countless full-time employees dream of having as much free time as they want, and the only way they’re going to get it is via the endless opportunities that come from not having a job. 

There is a lot to be said about when your days aren’t taken up by a soul-crushing 9 to 5, so long as you have a little imagination. If this Unemployed Friend meme is anything to go by, it can be a hell of a lot of fun. If nothing else, there aren’t many offices out there where you can get away with wearing a wizard hat.
