A «thirst trap» is a post, either a photo or a video, on social media that is chosen with the intent of luring compliments, provocations of love, and to draw public attention. For years, thirst trap posts have been a staple on influencer sites and have grown into a certain style of video that achieves the desired effect of fetching a fair amount of looks, likes, and comments. One videographer, who is a classic creative and is inspired largely by requests from her following, recently created a thirst trap video that blows all of the others out of the water. Instead of making a video of a cute girl in a bathing suit at the beach showing 90% of her rear, Ashley Xu, aka @ashhasacamera, made a sensual, attractive video of something we all love even more than hot girls: Chicken Nuggets.
