The film bro community is one of the most oppressed groups in modern history. Well, not really, but they don’t deserve all of the slack they get online. To this, you might be asking, «What’s in a film bro? That which we call a bro by any other film?» The label of «film bro» has gotten so muddied over the past couple of years, it is now used to describe anyone with slightly non-normative tastes in movies. «Film bros» used to represent a group of pretentious, rude men who acted like they were geniuses because they’ve seen 5 Quentin Tarantino flicks. Now, it’s becoming more and more about less and less. It’s about time that anyone who likes foreign films, indie movies, movies from before 1970, or any non-Marvel fare reclaim the title of «film bro» as a positive thing.
