Sometimes, I don’t want the classic movie theater food. I often go to the movies after a long day at work, and I’m hungry for a hearty meal! Contrary to popular belief, a bag of popcorn and a large Diet Coke is not «dinner.» I don’t have time to eat before the movie, so I like to explore the expensive foodstuffs that the various AMCs of NYC have to offer. I’ve spent more than I like to admit on measly little hot dogs and greasy pretzel bites, and I’m happy to do it! Everyone deserves a decadent meal sometimes, and a movie theater is a great place to live a little. 

Some people want to push the boundaries of what the movie theater experience can be. One Twitter user recently proposed that theaters should sell popcorn-sized buckets of chicken wings and french fries, and the people of Twitter strongly disagree with him.
