Happy Belated Mother’s Day, everybody! Mother’s Day is one of those special holidays where you’re supposed to be able to relax and chill out, but it always ends up being a little bit of a mess. Kids are not known for being excellent at preparing breakfast in bed or buying things their mom would truly want. Even if families aren’t able to give moms a completely stress-free day, it’s the thought that counts. 

No holiday points out the discrepancy between the domestic workload of parents more than Mother’s Day. When husbands try to take on a considerable chunk of the housework, they realize how difficult it is to be their wives. Whether that realization changes their behavior in the long run remains to be seen. Moms deserve so much, and more than anything, they deserve a chance to laugh at painfully relatable tweets that all but sum up their crazy life as a parent.
