Many of us who are hopeless social media addicts today can partly blame this affliction on Facebook. Even if it wasn’t our first introduction to presenting ourselves on the internet, it certainly marked a turning point in how many of us decided to do it. Even if it’s not a site that you use a lot now, chances are you have a history with it.

This is true for the majority of people on the internet; there are still nearly three billion monthly active users on the platform. Many of them are up in there merrily posting away, occasionally with interesting/horrifying results. We can still find plenty that’s entertaining about Facebook, and things that make it seem like it would be better if it burned to the ground. In all honesty, we could say something similar about the likes of TikTok as well. It’s all a matter of perspective, and a good amount of questionable attention seekers.
