While I am no afficionado, I understand why people are attracted to collecting crystals. They are pretty and shiny and all in all, a more engaging home decoration that a Live, Laugh, Love decal. While being the proud owner of numerous crystals might commit a person to a lifetime of dusting duties, there’s no denying that they’re pretty. 

On top of that, they have a range of different meanings that can have a potent psychological effect, if you’re that way inclined. There may be little to no concrete proof that, say, rose quartz is going to bring love in your life, but belief is half of the battle! If a bunch of cool rocks make you feel like you can take on the world, more power to you. There are far worse things to spend your disposable income on. Also, when that runs out, you always have some memes to back you up.
