There are so many different positive qualities about the miracle that is soup. It’s comforting, it can be made in just about every flavor under the sun, and it’s one of the easiest ways of sneaking extra vegetables into our diet (even if we’re fussy). It’s also a great excuse to eat half a loaf of bread, and act like that’s kind of healthy. 

Just like diehard stoners with weed, soup devotees will tell you that if you don’t like soup, you just haven’t tried the right type yet. Some may accuse the average soup lover of acting a like a cult member, but can you blame them? When a food type inspires memes like this, you know it’s got to be good.
