On one level, we’re all very fortunate to be alive today. The ways in which society and technology have advanced allow many of us to live in relative comfort and luxury compared to people even a hundred years ago. On the other hand, for this to be possible for millions of people, they must work 40+ hours a week. 

To put it mildly, there are times when this doesn’t feel like a fair tradeoff. While a boring office job might be preferable to, say, working down the mines,  it still has its fair share of annoyances that can snowball in making you feel like you don’t want to get out of bed to deal with them in the morning. At least work memes are here to help you cope with that particular pain. In the middle of the tedium and the office politics, there is some humor to be had.
