In grade school, I used to have a writing teacher who would offer extra credit to you if you spotted a typo in the real world, took a picture of it, and sent it to her. It was a great idea all around. I had fun checking signs for bad grammar, and I was also using my newfound language arts skills. Too bad I was already doing really well in the class and didn’t need the extra credit. Nerd alert!
But it’s always at least a little bit funny seeing something that made it to print that shouldn’t have, and it makes you feel a little bit superior for noticing. All in the trials and tribulations of life, I suppose. But the typos/misfires/intentionally annoying designs contained in these images are a step beyond the kind of stuff I’d send to my teacher. These are absurd to the point of hilarity.
