Sometimes words fail. We try with all our might to get our point across but we just can’t come up with the right language to put to our feelings. This happens to me when I’m angry or sad. The emotion gets too overwhelming and I end up tripping over my words like some kind of fool. It’s so embarrassing. And then the other person is left with nothing to grab onto. But what about when designs fail? Design is communication, after all, like words. 

So it’s no wonder that they can leave us empty handed much like words. What follows is a list of exactly that. It’s 30 times that designers tried and failed to get something across. Can we blame them? Maybe. But then we’d have to remember all the time when we thought of a way to win an argument in the shower. I think it’s the same thing.
