So many rich people are clueless about how good they have it. From the way richies talk online, anyone making less than $100K a year must be slumming in extreme poverty that can never be rectified. I understand that living «comfortably» differs amongst classes, but anyone saying that making $300,000 a year in NYC is a poverty wage is quite literally out of their mind. 

If you are making close to $500K a year for doing what is equivalent to a part-time job, you will probably not be doing it for that long. If I were making that much, I would hold onto it for dear life, milking as many bones out of it as possible. I wouldn’t care if it was unfulfilling or actively harmful; my 401K would be filled to the brim. One tech worker recently went viral for complaining about having such a gig, and Twitter can’t believe his foolishness.
