It’s that time of year y’all. We’re popping the chocolates out of our advent calendars and doing last-minute Amazon orders for quick gifts. Santa’s elves are hard at work and so are we. It’s one of the busiest times of year for most folks, as work ramps up toward year-end and we’re making plans for holiday celebrations. For me, it’s easy to slip into what I’ll call «festive anxiety.» I’m running around from place to place like a chicken sans head, but I’m doing it all in service of the holiday spirit. I’m plastering a smile on my face while I spend way too much money on gifts. I’m pretending like I have time to churn out 3 batches of bespoke cookies to hand out to my neighbors. 

This meme list reflects that specific brand of seasonal mania. They start off cheery but slowly turn into an honest reflection of my mental state this time of year.
