Everyone’s first closing shift is a traumatizing experience. At least for me, a morning person who likes to front-load all the work of the day, a closing shift is my worst nightmare. Not only do you need to do 95% of your work in the last 30 minutes of your shift, but the time you go home is entirely determined by the last customer that walks through the door.
