I’m always baffled by people who are convinced that aliens aren’t real. It just seems like a logical matter of probability to me. You tell me space is infinite. Literally infinite. And there are galaxies as far as the eye can see (and much farther) full of solar systems that we will never even know about, and planets that we can’t even begin to fathom. And you want be to believe that we are the only living beings out there? Try again, bozo. I’ll be over here waiting for the little green guys to eventually make their way over to us. Maybe they already have. Watch enough History Channel after dark and they’ll have you convinced. 

But even without the proof, it’s much more fun to think we live in a universe that has other lifeforms in it than not. That’s where some of our favorite sci-fi creations come from. People like me who believe.
