One of the many annoying things about being alive is the sheer amount of clutter that we accumulate. I can imagine that most of us have despaired at the multitudinous objects we have scattered around the house when, for example, we lose our keys just before we’re about to leave. It’s no wonder that some people try to take a vow of minimalism and sleep on a mattress on the floor for philosophical reasons, as opposed to because they’re going through a hard time.

The humble meme is almost like the internet version of all the personal garbage we collect IRL. The very best of it is destined to be hidden deep in our camera roll, only to be unearthed with some furious scrolling when chatting to a friend. It would be nice if there was an easier way to keep and find them. but this is all we have for the time being.
