It’s the honest truth that variety is the spice of life. If you get a bit too much of a good thing, shit can get pretty  boring pretty fast. As much as we hate to admit it, it’s very much like mom used to say: If every day was like Christmas (or your birthday) it would lose its pizazz. And while it’s not usually used in this way, the phrase applies to memes as well. If we happen upon a crap load of wholesome memes, it often makes us feel a little more contempt for humanity – which defeats the purpose of the wholesomeness. In a similar manner, when every meme tweet in a gallery is of the animal meme variety, we get bore, even as lovers of pretty much every creature.  The real best way to enjoy memes is by mixing them up a bit in the theme department, and that’s what we’ve set out to do with this collection.
