A Rowdy Rumble of Random Memes

The Tale of the Haunted Meme, Part III.

Bill had been gone for hours and his coworkers started to get worried. His manager asked the office if anyone knew where he was heading when he disappeared. «The, uh…the bathroom» one of Bill’s coworkers replied. Giggles came from one side of the room. «It’s not funny» the manager said, «maybe Bill is experiencing some painful irritable bowel syndrome! It’s no laughing matter. Trust me, I know.» And with that, the manager marched into the bathroom and called out for Bill.

«Bill,» the manager said, «you don’t have to be embarrassed. I know what you’re going through. Just let me know you’re alright and I’ll leave you alone.»

«Help…me!» Bill cried, «please…somebody help…me…can’t…escape…»

«I’m coming Bill!» the manager said heroically as he kicked down the stall door, revealing Bill sitting on the toilet, wildly scrolling through r/dankmemes like a madman.

«What? You’re just looking at memes? On company time?» the manager demanded furiously. «You’re fired!»

Bill sat there and continued to scroll and scroll and scroll until finally his coworker took the phone out of his hand and smashed it on the floor, breaking the curse. Bill vowed never to look at r/dankmemes again. The end.
