Hey, you. You over there. Yeah, you. I wanna let you in on a little secret about memes, and internet content in general. You see, contrary to the  beliefs of some insufferable and pretentious internet enjoyers, memes really don’t have to be intelligent to be amusing. Memes don’t need to shout out some niche subculture, Twitter celebrity, or meme trend. They don’t even need to be that much of an inside joke to qualify them for appreciation. In fact, we’re partial to the opinion that stupid memes are often even funnier than those lofty, smart, and referential ones. If we’re looking to pass the time doing something fun online,  we are definitely not looking for philosophical memes or vocabulary-rich macros. We’re looking for the most basic types of humor. We’re talkin’ fart jokes. Poop jokes. Hell, we’re even talkin’ pee jokes. We’re talkin’ nonsensical captions and intentionally terrible photoshop. Cursed images, cringe pics, embarrassing screenshots – the dumber the better. This batch of memes isn’t all stupid, but there’s just enough stupidity and strangeness to keep things interesting.
