Well, it’s official. After what seems like a lifetime of umming and ahhhing on the topic of whether TikTok should be allowed to rampage unabated through the land of the free, President Biden has signed into law that parent company ByteDance has a matter of months to sell up or get their influential app banned in the United States.

There’s no telling what twist will happen next in this tale, but it gives a sense of urgency to a daily dead-eyed scroll through your FYP, doesn’t it? Thankfully, whether the plug gets pulled or not TikTokers will continue to provide us with the wild and ridiculous humor that the platform has become known for. If worst comes to worst, many will only migrate over to Reels, anyway.
