As of January 14th, Windows 7 has been officially discontinued by Microsoft. After 11 years of service, memers and tech geeks alike are mourning the loss of the trusty operating system – although we suspect they’re more excited about all the meme-ing than they are sad about the actual loss. 

On the bright side of all of this, Windows 10 upgrades are free for us, so we’ve got that going for us, which is nice.
