I can’t imagine how painful it is to be a straight woman on a dating app. At best, every guy you find remotely cute has «Looking for the Pam to my Jim» in his bio. At worst, you’re getting the most explicit and misogynistic messages imaginable from some dude who is ugly as sin. Usually, it’s hard to sniff out the bad apples on dating apps because guys are not particularly good at showing who they are through pictures. It used to be that if a guy had a picture of himself with a big fish on a dating app, that was a red flag. Now, there’s no telling who’s your future husband and who will call you an ugly cow. 

Some guys show their slips in the bio of their dating app profile. One Tinder user went beyond «no fat chicks» in his bio and listed 16 qualities his future partner must not have and one hilarious quality she has to have.
