Entitled parents belittle grandmother for taking their kids to Epcot while babysitting: ‘She was distraught over missing their first Disney trip’

There are some parents out there who are obsessed with their children’s «firsts.» I can understand that a kid’s first words, first steps, and first days of school are all incredibly salient moments for parents to remember for the rest of their lives, even if their kids don’t retain them. While I respect the documentation of «firsts,» there’s a reason why most parents stop doing it after their kid is around three years old. Not every first is created equal, and I’m sure your baby’s first word or first haircut is more meaningful to most parents than their first visit to Red Robin.

One pair of parents recently went viral for chewing out their kid’s grandmother for taking their children to Epcot without their approval. The grandma didn’t see why it was such a big deal since it wasn’t like she was bringing them to The Magic Kingdom, but clearly, the parents disagreed.
