Time is a cruel mistress. Trends change and the world moves forwards, until one day, you realize that everything you ever knew has suddenly become irrelevant. It happens to all of us eventually, but few expect it until it actually happens to them. It could be triggered by something as small as still wearing skinny jeans when everyone under the age of 25 seems to be in love with cargo pants — or it might be something even worse. 

Nothing hammers home the fact of growing older like watching the kids of today act with confusion around things that we took for granted growing up. Here’s some unwelcome news for anybody born in the 20th century: apparently, they don’t really know what landline phones are anymore. When @Imhurd1 posted a video of her children having their minds blown by the old-school tech, viewers were couldn’t decide whether to be amused or scared. Things are going to be even worse the day iPhones turn obsolete.
