There’s something kind of sad about how baseball has fallen out of favor as the epitome of American sports over the past 50 years. Don’t get me wrong, I love watching basketball and football, and I don’t think those sports have replaced baseball by any means. I think that baseball has some underrated qualities that people don’t appreciate enough. First of all, there are a million games every week. If you miss a game, don’t worry, there’s a 99% chance there will be a game tomorrow. Baseball is the Big Brother of sports: Constant content! I also love that the MLB season is during the summer. That’s the time when you actually want to go out and watch a bunch of guys hit a ball with a stick. Again, I love football season, but so much of it is freezing cold! I don’t enjoy that feeling. If you’re a baseball fan, who understands it on a deeper level than I ever could, these baseball memes might just be a home run.
