Back when I was in my tween years, the one sentence that struck me with a deafening blow was, ‘You’re grounded’. Fair, I was grounded for 2 weeks, not 6 months, like this person, u/DwarfyMorphy. You would think that being a decent mom would not be too hard, but apparently, some people’s brains work super differently, and no matter how hard we try, we will never be able to understand them.
