Oblivious Company Emails ‘Pride Wordsearch’ to Employees, Gets Roasted for Questionable Allyship

It’s a tale as old as the pink dollar: the month of June rolls around, and every company who wants those sweet egalitarian profits makes an empty gesture towards the LGBTQ+ community. The most famous and well memed example of this is the rainbow pride month logo, but some businesses go even further than that.

Unfortunately, this doesn’t always pan out as intended. One Twitter user demonstrated when they shared a way in which the company they worked for has decided to celebrate Pride. Revealing a specially created wordsearch that had been emailed out to every employee, the ‘crazy’ word choices that somebody had thought up really captured peoples’ attention.

It is kind of hard to make out whether the individual that made this wanted to be offensive, or was just kind of misinformed, but Twitter had a hoot with roasting their creation nonetheless. It was so kind of them to make straight people feel included.
