4 costumes, one pumpkin, and approximately 649 candy corns later, Halloween is finally over. And just like that… I’m listening to «Blue Christmas» and my aunt is asking me for a Christmas list. The holiday season changes overnight, and while spooky season officially starts on October 31st, we have almost two whole months to prepare for the next big’un. I know Thanksgiving is in between, but there are no good Thanksgiving songs that Adam Sandler didn’t write. Ghosts and ghouls are coming down to make way for decking the halls and whatnot. The pumpkin Reese’s in my bloodstream are quickly metabolizing into eggnog. Is that too gross of a thought? Sorry. 

No matter what you celebrate, Christmas is a state of mind. And it’s as unavoidable as a girl dressed up as a devil on Halloween. Today, in particular, we’re enjoying one of the season’s best meme formats, that celebrates that overnight switch.
