The breakup clichés that we always hear usually have to do with cheating partners that one of the partners was a cheater or there was a major incompatibility in the relationship. What we Cheezcakers believed to be small «icks» in partners actually can carry heavier weight and even be major dealbreakers for people in relationships.
In a Reddit thread, a lot of these dealbreakers have to do with life experiences that contribute to a distaste for someone that carries that familiar «negative» quality. Other times, there are light things that supposedly would end up being such a strong «annoyance» that it becomes not even worth dating that person.
Either way, relationships are never broken without a rationale, even if that is what a partner claims. Because of this, we encourage you to discover your values and what is important in a partner before starting a relationship with someone. This can help you push past the little «icks» and find someone that you are fundamentally compatible with, and build from there!
