The Best Dungeons & Dragons Memes of the Week (November 4, 2022)

Playing D&D online doesn’t seem as fun as playing in person, but maybe there are benefits that haven’t been explored yet. For example, the other day I saw a tweet about how one clever dungeon master used the constraints of telecommunication to their advantage. Whenever they had to pause for a moment to check their notes, instead of awkwardly breaking character, they would put up a «loading» sign in front of the web cam that included loading screen tips, like «All Bosses have a weakness. Find and exploit it!» or, «A creature can be Tiny, Small, Medium, Large, Huge, or Gargantuan in size.» But this is nothing new. Apparently dungeon masters have been doing this for years! This old thread from r/DnD is just one of many examples of creative fans sharing funny loading screen tip ideas with others. It’s little details like this that make the legendary tabletop RPG truly special.

And now what you’ve all been waiting for—the best Dungeons & Dragons memes of the week!
