Most of us realize pretty early into our careers that they don’t call it the daily grind for nothing. Unless you’re reaping the unearned rewards of nepotism, you’ve got a cushy WFH setup where you can slack off, or your job title is something like «part time plant sitter», it’s a plain fact that the professional world can be a relentless one.

For some reason, we’re meant to just suck this up and get on with it, no complaints. It’s a pretty crappy deal, especially when many people don’t even get paid enough to do what they do. Between the terrible bosses and the seemingly endless lists of pointless little tasks, it’s easy to lose hope as an employee. 

Thankfully, we do have some small blessings to help us deal with it all. No, it’s not another month of PTO — it’s a load of cynical and eternally frustrated work memes. Just in case you needed an outlet other than silently screaming in the break room.
