I haven’t been to many weddings in my day, which I kind of regret because I love spectacle. Any time that a group of people gets together in the hopes of things going well, there’s always potential for things to go wrong. There’s too much comedic tension. Like funerals, when something is funny at a wedding, it’s 100x funnier because it’s at a wedding when everyone is trying to be serious. 

One of the wedding moments that has the most potential for hilarity to ensue is when the officiant asks, «Should anyone present know of any reason that this couple should not be joined in holy matrimony, speak now or forever hold your peace.» The vast majority of the time, nothing happens and we move right along.
