People give Snow White, Cinderella, and Aurora a lot of slack for being the most boring of the Disney princesses. While they’re not entirely wrong, I think it has a lot more to do with the other characters in their movies being so much more memorable than these ladies being uniquely uninteresting. Despite being the titular characters, their films are more about the seven dwarves, mice, and fairies. Those characters pad the runtime, give our princesses a non-prince character to hang out with, and ineffectively fight the villain for her. The villains of their movies are also such evil, fierce divas that you can’t help but find the princesses to be uninspiring in comparison. And then there’s that whole»  » their whole existence is only for a ma» thing, and we’ll be here all night if we try to get into that mess.
