2024 is a pretty big year for devoted fans of the Tolkien extended universe. In December, The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim is going to be hitting theaters, once again giving them a chance to see the world they love so much pictured on the big screen.

This isn’t the only thing to look forward to, though. Inevitably, with the release of a new movie comes an opportunity to collect even more hilarious screencaps for the ambitious artistic endeavor that is LOTR memes. Judging by the amount of new content that fans manage to make out of films that are twenty or more years old, there will undoubtedly be no problem in this regard.
