There are certain things that we expect to see when confronted with a normal cat. We’re thinking whiskers, those twitchy ears, toe beans, and a fluffy belly that they may or may not want you to keep scratching, if only so they can attack your hand. Most importantly of all, we expect to see a healthy coat of constantly shedding fur (unless it’s one of those ones that’s meant to be bald). 

It’s more than a little unsettling, then, when we come across a kitty that has undergone a haircut. Most types of cats are not designed to be viewed in the bare flesh, and a video by @loralando has made that glaringly apparent. Revealing how her cat had had to have his tail completely shaved by the vet, she showed off the bizarre results of the unexpected makeover. Many viewers were taken aback by how inappropriate it looked, and you can’t blame them.
