Woman Gets ‘Fired’ After an Altercation With a Karen; Didn’t Work There in the First Place

We’ve all had that hazy post-shift feeling, where your brain is ablaze with work fuzzies and you’re body is waiting for that post-work shower to feel fully functional. This is especially true and especially potent for nightshift employees. One woman, a casino worker, recently suffered from a debilitating case of the after-shift haze when she was attempting to do some last minute errands at 5am just before heading home to crash after a long work day.

Coming straight off of an all-nighter at the casino, OP was shopping at her local pharmacy and was lost in a complete brain fog when she was approached by an angry customer, who saw her in her work clothes and name tag. Assuming she was an employee of the pharmacy (and ignoring the shopping cart in OP’s hand), the irate customer spiraled into a fit of rage, asking about a return and hassling OP for a free coupon. Confused, exhausted, and on the verge of a meltdown herself, OP snapped on the Karen customer and shooed her away.

Scroll for the entire tale of how this woman got fired from a job she never had because she was rude to a fellow customer.
