As the number of centenarians gradually increases, you might think that the whole business of getting super old is not exactly a headline-worthy occurrence. It must have been a slow news day where @tatumackenzie lives, though, as she stumbled upon one legendary elderly woman while watching TV.

Sharing her find to TikTok, she revealed how she had been both shocked and amused by the response of Annie when she was asked why she thought she had managed to live so long. Some viewers were similarly taken aback, but others pointed out that the attitude taken by the senior citizen was actually pretty common. The wisdom of the elderly is truly a gift.
